Let us begin by introducing myself. I am a native Baiano born in Salvador and multi-culturally educated (I've lived and studied in England, Sweden and Germany and visited many other countries and cultures). I've studied tourism at the university and in addition languages, such as: English, Spanish, Italian, French and some German, Portuguese in my mothertongue. So, If you're coming to Salvador and would like to hire a special native personal tour guide and travel agent, you've come to the right person. I know the city and its history, culture, people, places like the back of my hand. I also guide excursion tours to beautiful natural areas all around the State of Bahia. My fees:
2 itineraries tour: R$ 300 (Brazilian Currency) on this tour, you´ll be exploring 2 different places of the city, such as the "Old Historical City" and another chosen spot which can be the "Lower City" or the "Atlantic Ocean part of the city" both with their history/culture and traditions to be explored during the tour.
3 itineraries tour: R$ 350 (Brazilian Currency, you´ll be exploring 3 different places on the city, such as "Old Historical City(Pelourinho)/Lower City and the Atlantic Ocean parts of the city" and their history..culture and traditons in each one of those different areas. That´s the most complete tour where each place will be giving you the opportunity to get deeper into our history and in its end you´ll not only understand about our city but having a great historical and cultural perspective of our people and our country.
*Walking Tour: This walking tour, it´s done specifically at the "Old Historical City", this one it takes around 3 hours and you´ll be exploring all the history/culture/architecture/day by day and traditions specially on that historical neighborhood like this you won´t have a global idea about that historical area but consequentely of the city and the country.<

Favela Tour´s Testimonial:"The thing I liked the best was when we went on the favela tour. There is a lot of ignorance about the ‘ favelas’, commuters pass by it everyday in the metro/on the highway without knowing anything about it.I had no idea what to expect of the neighbourhood either, people just warn you of going to ‘the favela’. However I did not notice any of this whilst being in the neighbourhood. We walked around with two great guys who live there. We went through the small streets, with a lot of difference it the materials used for building the homes. They all started the same but trough the years some might have had more money to improve there homes and replaced parts with better materials. What I loved about the neighbourhood is that these guys seemed to know everyone, everyone watches each others backs and it is a very social place. Guys playing soccer, listening to music and dogs and children running around happily and freely. I was welcomed in a home and other than that I was welcome by everyone with open arms.
